Yellow Cabs has the most experienced taxi fleet in Adelaide with around 300 vehicles of varying types including station wagons Sedans and Silver Service Vehicles. A long established company, starting in 1924, Yellow Cabs has vast experience and understanding of customers' needs.
In those early days taxi cabs were its sole endeavour. For its first modest size fleet of 30 vehicles the company chose the very latest A2 Brougham vehicles.
These had been specially designed for passenger service, with prototypes first seeing service on the streets of Chicago in 1915. And it was widely acknowledged that these wooden wide bodied, continental-engine powered A2’s were in their day, the absolute height of urban transport efficiency.
